An Annex to the Agreement was co-signed between the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) and Distance Learning and Training Group (DLT), at ISESCO headquarters in Rabat.

The Amended Agreement was co-signed by Dr Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri, ISESCO Director General, and DLT Chief Executive Officer, Eng. Zuhair bin Ali Azhar.

The Annex provides for the expansion of the scope of cooperation to cover the activities and areas related to public and higher education, technical education and vocational training, educational and training solutions to non-Arabic speakers, services for people with disabilities, media training services, and other activities mutually agreed upon within ISESCO’s realm of competences. The Annex also provides for cooperation in the initiatives, to be launched by any of the parties, which serve their common objectives, as well as cooperation in supporting and encouraging joint projects in Member States and beyond.

It is worth mentioning that ISESCO and DLT had co-signed a cooperation agreement on 14 July 2014 in Rabat, under which many activities have been implemented in the field of common interest for benefit of Member States.
